The street in front of the Cascades sales office is already bustling with preparation for this evenings Riverwalk Festival in Winooski VT. We are very excited to be sponsoring as the Winooski Falls Development Group. There will be live music, food, games and fireworks at sunset. Tammy Fletcher and Waylon Speed are a few of the performers today. You’ll also find food as mixed as our little community from all different cultures.

Winooski Falls Way will be closed down at 4PM for the festival. You can find parking in the city garage off Cascades Way. It is free for all festival goers. Come down and enjoy!

Men at work pouring the concrete in the new Winooski Falls Market!

Yes, the rumors are true! We’ve signed a lease on the market space in Keen’s Crossing. The concrete floor is being poured as I type this. The market will be called the Winooski Falls Market & Deli and is scheduled to open in early August! They proprietors of the market, Larry Rondeau & Laurie Chicoine, plan to offer made to order specialty sandwiches, homemade soups and pre-made salads. The market will also have a variety of convenience items like milk, bread, butter, cereal, beer and wine.

We are all very excited to welcome the Larry, Laurie and Winooski Falls Market & Deli! We’ll keep you posted on their progress.
