New Breed Marketing has taken on additional space in the Champlain Mill. Recently renovated they are unveiling the new space on the 17th of this month. Their success is not only reflected in their office expansion they have also seen and increase in new customers and managed to grow in this difficult economy.

The Community College of Vermont had a grand opening ceremony yesterday to celebrate their new site in Winooski. We’ve been watching the building go up over the last year and it’s turned out to be a really beautiful building (see images below). The Cascades sales team attended the ribbon cutting ceremony and took a tour of the facility. The architect and faculty involved in design did an outstanding job incorporating function and style. Jim Douglas was present, along with many other state official involved with the project.

With all the hype around CCV coming into the Winooski Falls neighborhood the local media took some time to catch up with our team. Walking past the old Sneakers Bistro space yesterday it appeared there was activity in there. While we were peeking in the windows a woman who was passing by informed us that there was a new restaurant going in.

The name is to be Our House and it is going to be a BBQ restaurant. It will add some nice variety to Winooski’s downtown restaurant district! Can’t wait.
